Today, I received a call from a collection agency. Since I had no clue, I was ready to file a police report for stolen identity. I then called my mom only to find out she has been opening new credit cards with my information for 3 years and not paying them. My credit is ruined and I'm only 21. FML

Welcome to the club. Not only do I have 30K in schools loans I have another 15k in my moms credit card debt.

I'd still report it. I hope you did call the police. your mom ruined your credit. Its tough to get that shit back on track. even if you did start back in 09, you won't be completely clear of all the black marks for YEARS
