Self conscious or not, wearing a bra during sex is lame as hell, especially when it's likely expected for the dude to be naked. You probably would have said something if he wanted to wear a tshirt or leave his boxers on with the crotch open. Also, significant others are not the people to be insecure around; it gets to be a total drag and will start to hurt the relationship.
