That's messed up. If you go to a credit union, you could get a single account.
Maybe , your parents didn't think you would actually graduate and go to college. FYL
That sucks, but legally there isn't much you can do. It was a joint account, and the law doesn't really give a damn as long as they are the ones who spent it.
Hey #38, Go F*** yourself. Who cares if this guys parents gave him everything he needed throughout his life. Giving him what he needs is one thing but stealing from him is another. He has been saving up his money for his education so he could go to college but I guess his parents had a better USE for it. So OP I hope you still have those recipes so you can return those useless items. If not then I hope they either pay you back or steel from them with out telling them just like they did from you. Good luck. BTW, YOUR PARENTS ARE SELFISH, GREEDY BASTARDS!!!
uhhh, I'm guessing you need to have a little chit chat with your parents....
wow, same thing happened to me too

Sue. Sure, they're your parents, but God, being inconsiderate like that. It's your future.
That really ought to be illegal. You get screwed if your parents don't meet their financial aid obligations for your education, so there should be some legal requirement for your parents to meet those obligations.
