Today, a cop rear-ended me. Then I received a ticket from him for driving too far under the speed limit. We were in a school zone. FML

umm can't you dispute this in court? In most cases, the person rear ending you is at fault because they were either a) driving too close and/or b) not paying attention. You could've stopped for any number of legitimate reasons. Sadly this is just another case of a cop abusing his power so he doesn't get reprimanded. Get a lawyer fast OP.

File a complaint, see if you can take it to court.

If they are the worst then don't go calling on them should you ever need their assistance. Not all cops are corrupt.

So, you were enjoying getting rear-ended by a cop while you were driving through a school zone? And they call ME a bitch! FML!

So you're NurseBitch... I would have thought DocBastard had better taste. Ehhh, don't have kids plzthxbi

Better taste? Say what? A) I didn't give her her nursing degree B) I didn't hire her C) I didn't **** her D) I don't have the power to approve her account or username So...you were saying?

Then stop whining about it and fight it...

this happened to someone I know a few years ago. he file insurance claims against the police precinct for damage and injury. the payed out the ass. I'd peruse it heavily and turn this into an fml ftw.

There are places such as "The Ticket Clinic" that you could hire to fight the case for you. If you have a clean record the judge may just dismiss it entirely. You may have to pay the court fees but it might still come out cheaper plus no points. I also had a cop pull out and hit my car. He's just covering his ass. You need to do the same. It's worth fighting. But FYL because it will still cost you money whether it's hiring a lawyer or taking time off work to fight it yourself.
