Today, after being a vegetarian for 5 years, I found out that my boyfriend of 2 years has secretly been feeding me meat. His reason is that he thinks it's "funny" that I still call myself a vegetarian afterwards. FML

I dont care who you are...that's just funny right there...my sister use to hate deer meat...me and my dad would always fix it and say it was beef...lmao...she loved it...and now she eats it willingly...realized it was stupid...its not killing her

That is terrible! That was her own personal choice and her own father, who should always support her decisions went behind her back and did the one thing she didn't want him to do!! O.o are you still with that a-hole? Just to ruin his joke, you should mention that there are several categories of vegetarian, and as long as it isn't red meat, you would still have a vegetarian attached to your diet description..fyl though..and your boyfriend for being so immature.

While I don't agree with what OPs boyfriend did (Everyone is entitled to their own opinions no matter how nonsensical) but if we weren't meant to eat meat we wouldn't have the equipment for it.

We're humans so we eat meat, that's it. You can choose not to and that's fine, even though it's not natural it can work for some people and you can do whatever you want with your life. Nothing wrong with eating meat and nothing wrong with being a vegetarian. There really is no need for a debate so please don't start one.

Just explain to your sister that her choices are only hers and that she shouldn't push them on others. That also means you should respect her life choice as long as she remains healthy.
