#29 - I agree. You haven't been in their shoes. I took a class on gender and violence and the professor started the class by positing a scenario - you're walking home from a party, at about 1am, by yourself. He was like, "Guys - what are you thinking about?" and they're like, "man, that party was great, the girl was hot, i'm totally wasted," etc. Then he was like "Girls, what are you thinking about?" and they all said "is the road well lit? do i have pepper spray? is anyone following me?" she could've asked for clarification before being rude, but in her defense, it's not quite the same as if a guy gets hit on by girls. A closer approximation would be if an big old guy hit on YOU. You're not really afraid of a 5-armed girl attacking you, but you might be afraid of a big guy attacking you sexually. that's what girls think about. and they should; 1 in 4 girls get sexually assaulted during their lifetime. anyway, i'm tired of people thinking things are the same for girls as they are for guys, because contrary to what everyone's trying to tell us, THEY'RE DIFFERENT.
#22- The most ignorant post I've read on this site. Please educate yourself on the topic at hand. =X
I agree with #2. I have no idea how you thought that was a come-on. I've heard nasty things said to me while just walking to school! And no matter how vulgar the comment-I ignore it. Way to look like an ass.
FAIL
How does that even begin to sound like a pick up line?
#39, yeah getting hit on is annoying. I got hit on in a ******* hotdog costume. However how the HELL does that sound like a pick up line? And I doubt they didn't have some sort of set up, a jar or SOMETHING that made it clear they were charity workers. I mean she obviously noticed on the way out, she probably just wasn't paying attention on the way in. Automatically thinking they want her makes her an ass.
**** you...get over yourself
#22: stfu, you dont realize that people can be born with AIDS and HIV people are RAPED and guys can be raped too. Many things can happen, take the 80s they didnt check if someone had a disease before they took their blood. So a lot of people gave and got blood that had AIDS/HIV so bam they had the disease. So you really need to shut up cause that karma is going to come back on YOU.

Wow, way to overreact. One thing this site has taught me is a lot of girls think they're getting hit on when they aren't. ******* get over yourself. You probably aren't that pretty.
YDI, how in the world could you think that they were hitting on you?
