Hold on right there. Do you mean you let your kid bring a realistic looking toy gun in a bank and expected nothing to happen? Really? I wheep for humanity...

You didn't specify in your fml but if it was a realistic gun then I understand the teller's point of viee, if it was obviously fake (i.e. different colors) then maybe you are right and the bank teller was dim witted. You are responsible for what happened because he's your kid but sometimes it is hard to keep an eye on EVERYTHING they do/have

Don't blame the teller for your mistake as a parent. I've worked at several banks and the staff is trained to take every threat/robbery attempt seriously. I've seen stranger robberies than an 8 year old and they were all serious. YDI
