Today, at work, a lady came in to have her glasses fixed. When she opened her case, an earwig crawled out. Instead of trying to kill it, she just left it and watched as it crawled over my desk and behind my computer. I later found the earwig in my hair. FML

Perhaps it is time to have the office checked and possibly "sprayed" to get any creatures out. Anyway, that was kind of rude, not to mention disgusting, from the woman's behalf. Hope things get in order quick, OP.

Earwigs usually like damp, dark places as Wikipedia states. I don't know why it would have chosen her glasses case.

I read on Wiki that some species of earwigs bite, and I remember being in my dad's garden just before going inside to my bedroom so that may be where I picked it up without knowing.
