Today, at work, a lady came in to have her glasses fixed. When she opened her case, an earwig crawled out. Instead of trying to kill it, she just left it and watched as it crawled over my desk and behind my computer. I later found the earwig in my hair. FML

Perhaps it is time to have the office checked and possibly "sprayed" to get any creatures out. Anyway, that was kind of rude, not to mention disgusting, from the woman's behalf. Hope things get in order quick, OP.

They like to hide out in dark places. I bought a house that has been empty for awhile. The mailbox was full of them when I moved in.

One summer I was just lounging on my bed watching TV when I started feeling this very sharp pain on my bare leg. I looked and saw an earwig on it. I quickly swatted and sent it flying out of existence. I've been really afraid of earwigs since then, it's bad enough they have their big pinchers on their butt!
