Let her complain. If she goes to try and report it to the police they will probably laugh at her and caution her for wasting police time. She need stop playing in a virtual world and start to live in the real one.
I like how the term "racist" is tossed around by people who are too dumb to think of something else to say. Can't fix stupid.

Yes, that is exactly the kind of story you would find on there. The fact that there are so many stories certainly opens your eyes about retail workers and working in retail, as well as how stupid people can really be.
I used to work in a supermarket. There was a customer known for stealing and returning to get cash. All the cashiers were told no refunds without receipt. I get called over one day and she is there yelling at the cashier. I go over and before I say a word she starts in on my saying that she doesn't want my help because I'm a racist. To calm the situation down I look at the long line behind her, then the cashier and said "I'm sorry hun this lady said I'm racist so I am going to have to stop seeing you" not sure how the cashier would react. But she was on my page. She teared up and started crying saying "NO! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME!! WHAT ABOUT OUR BABY?!?" The lady shut up and walked out. The cashier wiped off the tears and said In a calm voice "next". I miss that job sometimes.
This is why I could never work any type of costumer service job, My sarcastic insults could not be contained.

Customers who expect an exchange without a receipt are just idiotic. I see this situation on a regular basis where I work, where something will be half price one week and then the next week someone who "bought this stuff yesterday" come in looking for a full refund without a receipt to verify the dates
