Today, at work, I noticed a spider on a female co-worker's shirt. I gently brushed it off. She accused me of sexual harassment. FML

The spider was on her shoulder to those who asked.

the spider should be the one accused of sexual harassment

Nobody gives a damn if you're first. It makes you look like a jackass. To OP - For future incidences, DO NOT TOUCH WOMEN NO MATTER WHERE. They will usually consider it sexual harassment. Just point it out and let them deal with it.

One more thing. People, he said it was on her SHIRT. What makes you think it was on her boob? It could of been below her chest or something. Just thought I'd point that out.

Hmm, I don't really see this much as an FML. But that's just my opinion. Next time if you see something on a random girl's shirt, you should be like "excuse me, but I think there is something on your shirt" and you let her know ahead of time before touching them so they can get it off themselves, or have you do it for them if they let you. But tbh, I think YDI for not letting her know beforehand. But I'm not saying you are a jerk or anything because we all make mistakes. And sexual harassment my ass. That's hardly sexual harassment. But still, you should of warned her. Also, how do you know it was on her boob? It could of been somewhere below her chest. So why automatically assume he meant it was on her boob, only because he said "sexual and shirt" in the same sentence?

It was on her shoulder so of course he doesnt deserve it

@halapalu: You seriously think that brushing a spider off someone's shirt = caressing someone's boobs? You dumb?

That is not a ydi, because it was on her SHOULDER! If you read the 21st comment I think then you would see that the OP himself said it was on her shoulder, and yeah that is really ****** up. If it were me in that situation I would just ask what you were doing, not all girls assume things like that so dont classify us into the same group.

#26/#27 - Woohoo! Intelligence and rationality make their appearance in this thread!

p.s. apologies for double post in #26/27 - the sites going slow and appears to have a delay in comment postings.

the spider being on her shoulder makes the sexual harassment charge a huge overreaction. That chick is a bitch. I touch my coworkers, male and female on the shoulder all the time with no incident.

he does not deserve this she's a paranoid bitch she can't really accuse him of sexual harrasment if he didn't touch her in a sexual way. she's full of shit. and yes i agree with #26...society is paranoid these days even if a guy says "hi" to a chick on the street, she'll assume he's a creeper and hitting on her. i dont know about you guys, but i used to think saying "hi" to someone on the street was basic curteousy (sp?) im a girl but honestly, girls can be REALLY stupid sometimes.
