Not going to repeat what others already said. YDI
I have to say...YDI for dating a co-worker. Never, ever, ever date a co-worker.
I'm curious, why in some workplaces are you fired for dating co-workers? That's ridiculous.
because of all the bullshit drama it causes when they break up (and because some employees don't have the decency not to **** in the office).
You have horrible taste in men.
I worked at a movie theater, and if we were more than $25 short on our register, it was an automatic write up. I was a supervisor, but friends with some of the employees (I had worked with them, and was then promoted) and it was difficult at times, but I never had them pull anything like that. He sounds like an asshole, and you can do better.
Some people just insist on ******** in their own nest! That's why there are rules like that in some businesses. I think you got what you deserved. You knew better and knew the consequences. It was your choice. You made your bed......now lie in it!
you so derserved it! both the firing and the dumping. where's your loyalty?
FYL and YDI. Your bf sounds like a huge asshole. But if you make a decision to break company policy, you consent to the risk of being fired for it.

He is obviously to immature to understand the importance of having the correct amount of money in the till and the fact you have to do your job and properly to. You will find someone with the same mentality no doubt and will be better off without the other guy.
No way! You should've taken more money out and mentioned to your boss he was stealing out of the till. If you'd done that you'd be rid of him, still have a job, and have some extra spending money.
