He's a baby with a capital B. He should've also gotten fired.. not just you. But I don't think you should've been fired.. but some companies have a strict policy on supervisors dating employees.
Why didn't you just spell it with a capital 'b' then?
#108 people probably would have jumped on that for capitalizing a word that doesn't need to be.
Don't date people at work. Lesson learned. Move on, he's a douche.
You totally desrved it. He's an asswipe for "losing" the money and expecting you to cover it up, but you deserved it for obviously infringing company policy. That's why you don't date your juniors if you're a supervisor, especially when money auditing is involved. You're better off without him.
You must work at Wal-Mart, haha!
Yet another FMLer who picked a winner.
YDI for not denying the relationship. If your boyfriend is an asshole like that, it's okay to deny it, I guess.
1, you broke the rules! Did you honestly think you'd get away with it forever? 2, if the shyte is prepared to risk your job by sleeping with you stealing $40 is nothing! You should pick your men more carefully, he wasn't worth the time nor your job.
Methinks he hath shorted the till.

He is obviously to immature to understand the importance of having the correct amount of money in the till and the fact you have to do your job and properly to. You will find someone with the same mentality no doubt and will be better off without the other guy.
No way! You should've taken more money out and mentioned to your boss he was stealing out of the till. If you'd done that you'd be rid of him, still have a job, and have some extra spending money.
