Today, due to the heat, I had a deadly asthma attack. Where was my inhaler? My dad pawned it for beer money. What did my dad do about my attack? Told me to quit being a Drama Queen. I had to go across the street and beg for a ride to the ER from my neighbor. FML

completely agree with #17.. you cant pawn an inhaler.. its perscribed meds.. why wld somebody got to a pawn shop to purshase a half used out inhaler?.. your doc wld give it to you for free.. this FML by far was the biggest BS ever on here..

a pawn shop won't give money for prescription drugs. if this is true, dad had to sell it to a private person.

obviously OP meant near-deadly, which asthma that's bad enough can be, even though it's rare. it also definitely feels like you're dying. as for pawning things off, try thinking on roadside, with drug dealers, instead of a pawn shop. inhalant drugs can be used for a lot of different things, but they're prescription, so they aren't easy for crackheads to get a hold of a lot of times.

okay, you're a ******* dumbass. you actually think crackheads, or anyone else, tries to buy albuterol inhalers from drug dealers on the street? no. no, they don't. no one uses asthma inhalers to get high. because you can't. i've heard of some people using them to lose weight, but those people generally aren't drug addicts. OP's dad didn't sell a used, half empty inhaler "on the street" or in a pawn shop, or ANYWHERE, because this fml is complete bullshit. and even if you could, do you really think a middle-aged father would have the hook-ups to sell 'drugs'?

#56 not every inhaler is Albuterol. Advair has steroids in it and that's actually the inhaler I use.

You had an asthma attack in the heat? Not that I'm fully doubting, but I've only had mine in areas like Texas (allergies), and then the other people I know have had it caused by height, *more* allergies, etc. Never heard of it being brought on by HEAT. FYL.

ok idk what the hell is wrong with u ppl who thinks he deserves it but that's awful what ur dad did and I understand how u feel. my dad thought I had been lying wen I was having an asthma attack just so I could skip school which I wasn't and I wound up fainting from not being able to breathe. so screew ur dad and all these other ppl and I'm glad ur ok

My friend's asthma was triggered by heat. Poor air circulation and what-not. She had to complain to her RA in the dorm because it was getting to be summer and they didn't have air conditioning, and they also weren't allowed to open windows...

irb081 alot and or most inhalers don't cost 20 bucks it's usually more Like I kno mine cost 75 bucks with the fact of insurance paying for half meaning it cost more.
