What is it with kids these days? I was in high school not that long ago, and we all acted sanely and maturely. Sure, there were a few bad apples, but they were few and far between. When I was in high school, we would never have gotten caught doing something silly. We had courage and asked people out directly. I don't know what caused it, but suddenly kids are so demanding and feel they are entitled to everything. You all need to shape the **** up - you're an embarrassment to this generation. Sincerely, a guy born in the 80s.
I'm a girl, and if some guy wrote all over my car asking me out, I'd be pissed off. I don't care how hot he is. Don't write all over my car. I'd say no whether or not I found the guy attractive. Since I feel that way, I wouldn't go and write on somebody else's car. It's just creepy....
What's with the creepy stalk-ish car-writing?! Seriously? The only time something like that would be acceptable would be if you're already dating him and you know he'll find it funny or sweet. Of course, in that case, hopefully you already know the answer and asking is just a formality.
just because no one else is saying this and i think someone should, props to you for asking someone to prom even though you're a girl and for asking in a creative way. you didn't go about it the right way, but i do think you deserve some degree of praise for what you did. i still stand by everything i said in #34 though.
I'm sorry, but that's borderline stalker and definitely WEIRD. I'm sure he did not appreciate having you write all over his car, thus forcing him to clean it off before he could go anywhere. Next time, be less weird and just ask him directly.
hasn't anyone on here written on their friends' car windows/had theirs written on w a window paint marker?? it's just a fun, harmless thing a lot of high school kids do.. everyone saying they'd be pissed and turn her down too needs to lighten the **** up.
Men are protective of their cars. you'll learn.
40 is right. And it's been said before, but seriously... I'm just curious what the hell compelled you to think that asking him by "writing all over his car" was a good idea... That's like "Oh, I know! I'll just TP his house with flowery toilet paper!" ...WTF. You're a creeper.

Maybe because you wrote on his car? What did you write with? I hope it was in the dust or with something washable.
Well writing on his car is not such a good idea because then he has to wash it off and all...
