OP you should totally call a lawyer or something! That has to be illegal!
Totally illegal. For that lie, I would file a sexual harassment suit against him. Would be even better if you're a guy.
LAWSUIT. For the sake of anyone else who might work for this shitbag, don't let him get away with it
Why the heck would you tell him where you were seeking employment at? Secondly, you should get retribution.
I'd get his ass fired and take his job. I smell a lawsuit. FYL, OP
I don't know much about law, but that's unfair dismissal, and I think Defamation of character, and you should seek help about it.
Sue him. That is illegal and is slander and defamation of character. If this other place now won't hire you because of this a-hole you then have a $ amount of lost wages due you, plus lawyer fees, etc. But first, contact his Boss and HR - could be that his actions will get him fired and you rehired for the raise and more in order to avoid a lawsuit. That is if you still want to work there.
That is defamation and illegal

WHOA!! What in the actual **** is wrong with your boss?! It's been a long time since my jaw has dropped at an FML!
Your boss is an asshole! There has to be someone you can contact because he is out of line.
