THIS. IS. A. WIN.COMMENT.
ha ha... have you watched Blue Velvet yet?
You probably need the exercise anyways... Not picking you up, one person is let down. Bailing on a raid on Algalon hour, 24 people let down. YDI for not utilizing other available options.
You make it sound like the level of responsibility to 24 anonymous people playing a game is the same as the responsibility to someone's own child. It's really sad to see the excuses people make for someone who shares their addiction.
I think 75 put it best. "It's really sad to see the excuses people make for someone who shares their addiction." ^This
#45: when you have a child, your needs do Not come first anymore for a long time. If your child needs a ride home from school, which is a valid reason vs WoW, the child comes first. Video games later. The dad needs to be a parent and take responsibility. Depending on the OP's age that could be a serious safety hazard for the kid: getting hit by a car, heave traffic or rural road? weather conditions, a pervert who drives past seeing a lone kid and no witnesses may snatch him.....etc.
You are so right. If people don't want to have to take care of a child, they show wear a condom.
She deserves it. My main question is: "Did she intend on walking home every day, those 3 hours? Or did she just sorta think "Hey bro, I think I'll just randomly hope that my parents have time to do that shit". If she had a deal with her father that he should come and pick her up, then he's the idiot, but honestly. It says right there "I asked my dad to pick me up from school, he said he couldn't." This isn't something preplanned. If I called my parents while 12 miles away (assuming a walking speed of 4mph) and asked them to come pick me up, they'd pretty much just laugh at me, unless it was an emergency. 12 miles is nothing. Get a bicycle, it'll do you a lot of good. (note: I ride my bicycle to university each day, 10 miles each way. There are bus routes, but none of them get within a mile of my home) Basically, she deserves it for being completely unable to plan ahead. In all honesty, people are only going "THAT GUY IS A BASTAAAARRD" because it involves WoW, and WoW people apparently aren't real people.
It's the dads fault, i've seen a lot of people say, " Crap! sorry i gotta go, my kid needs______" so its the person, on another note, it would have been a shorter walk if u got a mount n00b
Next time, see if you can arrange to spend the night at a friend's. Don't tell him.
Listen WoW is srs bsns.
Tell him a gamer said that's a pretty shitty thing to do. Get a boyfriend with long hair and a leather jacket.
