That's why I always smell products before I buy them...People always look at me strangely for doing so, but it's well worth it to make sure whatever I'm buying doesn't smell foul.

#77 It is for some people. I wouldn't exactly consider it cheap, especially if it turned out I had to throw it away because I found out it smelled awful.

Yeah, you're right - it may be expensive for some. I'm just saying on a large scale, $20 is relatively cheap for moisturizer. Further, if she was that worried about the money, she shouldn't have purchased a product that she couldn't smell/touch beforehand.
