You 100% deserve it for not only BUYING a LIVING BEING but especially for buying him/her for a terrible reason. You should NEVER buy a cat when there are hundreds of them out there who need a loving home to go to so they don't end up on the streets or dead. And you absolutely should never buy or adopt any animal purely because you want them to entertain you; they're not computers!! You should only adopt a cat or dog because you want a companion who will love you unconditionally if you simply treat them well. They are living creatures who have feelings and emotions. And yes, they can be great entertainment sometimes, but if that's all you want go buy a bloody Wii, NOT a cat!! I feel so bad for your poor cat, being ripped out of her home and dragged to a new, scary, and stressful place by some dumbass human who only cares that she doesn't want to chase some stupid light on the wall, rather than being concerned for her welfare and making the transition easier on her. I hope she uses your clean laundry as her litter box.

Well said. i dont know, I cant count the number of toys that I bought for my cats but that they didnt like it. But it just doesnt matter. You just try to find a toy that they do like (as of experience there is always one ) And then you can both have some fun! And as you well said, you just love them no matter what ! I just cant understand OP on this one.
