Today, I came back to my apartment to see that my roommate had left out bread, deli meat, and cheese on the counter, and made myself a sandwich. When she came back, she informs me that she found bugs in the fridge and took out all the food she thought would be contaminated. FML

Today, I got home an hour late from to find that my roommate had left the fridge open for the entire 8 hours. The kicker is that I was an hour late because I was at the grocery store, not buying the things that were getting ruined because I thought we had some. FML

Today, after I cleaned out the fridge of things that expired months ago, my roommate got angry and insisted upon pulling all the moldy dairy products out of the garbage and putting them back because "they weren't mine and I shouldn't throw out other people's food." FML

Today, surprisingly, my roommate made a nice meal. Within an hour, I started throwing up. When I confronted her, she confessed that she'd used long expired ingredients, including meat, because she didn't want the garbage men to think she's "the type that wastes food." FML

Today, I grabbed a handful of crackers from the kitchen, only to find it crawling with bugs. Apparently, my brother had made the same discovery earlier, but put the box of crackers back in the cupboard anyway. FML

I also put bread in my fridge, its fresher, unless you leave it out then it will mold. I know a bunch of people that do that.

Oh people are so anal retentive about refrigerating things. I let milk and deli meat sit out all the time and I'm healthy as a horse. Also, LOL #5, rodent hairs? That's terrifying.

Bugs in a frige? Learn to clean! Sounds fake to me tbh, unless there were bug eggs in the food to begin with (which most likely dont hatch cause of the cold) there is no way bugs could get in.

Again, how could you eat food that was on the counter, especially cause that kind of food can spoil quickly. And yeah #5, you are correct. eg chocolate: i think Europe has a limit of 50 fragments per 100g.
