Today, I came home to find my husband and our 4-year-old son simultaneously peeing off the second-floor balcony. My husband was giggling like a little girl. FML

Cherish the moment, they'll look back at these years with good memories.

I bet you were coming home from your job, while your husband who's unemployable takes care of the things you are working hard to keep. Even dumb animals won't do this. Get out the bucket and scrub brush for him.

What an odd conclusion you've come to. Oh, and by the way, yes, "dumb animals" do pee outside. I can understand your confusion though, as I'm sure you only socialize with the highly intelligent animals, like dolphins, who are all toilet-trained and "employable." Right?

Extreme much? Maybe the dad works a later shift or it was his day off. I know a lot of little kids that were potty trained by peeing outside. It is not a big deal.

No, even a dumb animal will travel a distance to urinate. You must appreciate the odor of stale piss. Go figure.

Why, are you relating OP's husband to your own unemployed, bowel-distressed self? You seem overtly hostile for such a innocent, sweet FML.

Another outlandish jump to a nonsensical conclusion. That's fine though. If it makes you feel better, then fine; you are absolutely right. I just adore the tantalizing aroma of "stale piss." In fact, I like to bottle it up and spray it around my home like it's Febreze. How did you know?

What's wrong with that? Boys will be boys no matter what age. I've pissed off the front porch with my father plenty of times. It's bonding like hunting.

This brings to mind a scene from the movie Big Daddy. Let them have their moment, OP, it's a dad-son thing :)
