Today, I contacted a girl who dropped her ID at a club last night. I offer to drive 2 hours to return her ID to her. She is thrilled. When I arrive, she gives me a strange look, takes the ID, and runs back into her house. A two hour drive without even a thank you. FML

That is kinda creepy of you. You could have just dropped it in a mailbox and it would have been mailed to her.

maybe she thought you were going to be a night in shining armor but kinda failed?

she might have freaked out, but you did contact her and you said you were coming, just don't expect much in this age, people are too cautious to be grateful... and she prolly woulda only gave you a hi anyways

Here is my theory. The girl had a one night stand with a guy she liked and thought she would never see again. Some guy called to say she lost her I'd and she thought it was him. She was happy to be seeing that guy again then some creepy guy comes to the door. Wait. How did you contact her? Ids don't have phone numbers.

You have to be cautious these days. I would not be happy if I heard my daughter let a complete stranger inside her house who found her wallet. Chances are he may be harmless, but you never know.

She was hoping for somebody hotter. Sorry to hear you're so ugly.

I like #141's theory. But this is an excellent example of why it doesn't pay to be nice! I'd be pissed if I did something nice

why didnt u just mail it??? would have been much easier

its called the US Postal Service, isnt it creepy to get your id back from a random stranger who drives two hours to possibly rape and kill you? really nice of you, but creepy.
