Today, I'd had it with my mom's addiction to weed, so I told her to choose between me or the weed. I'm currently looking on Craigslist for an apartment. FML

While it is true that you aren't addicted to the actual chemical THC in marijuana, you can become "addicted" to the effects it creates. Here's a really crappy example: you don't become addicted to being held at gunpoint by muggers, but you can get addicted to the adrenaline rush, so to get your fix, you'll walk around seedy parts of town with money hanging out your ass to get that rush again.

In my opinion, smoking is no way to relieve stress. I'm stressing over college and high school at the same time because I dual enrolled, I have parents that fight and yell at each other, and my own physical health to worry about. My stress relief? TALKING to someone, like my boyfriend. If weed is the only way for you to not be stressed or to be happy, then that IS an addiction.

No. An addiction is when you cant stop doing something. For example. Cocaine or meth all of thoughs chemical drugs are addicting. Weed is a natural herb that grows from the ground. and it is not addicting AT ALL. I wouldn't even classify weed as a drug.

Um maybe he was allergic? Not everyone can smoke it. Asthmas plays a factor too. It soooo bad for relaxing you and making you hungry... And it's illegal bc the world is anal about anything good.
