ever heard of murphy's law? YDI

I really want to start a campaign to convince my state government that two license plates is simply redundant. I live in California, where the state is consistently broke and in debt and also puts on a huge show of caring for the environment. I figure arguing that going to 1 plate would cut costs in half and use half the resources should work.

Ha, that sucks. I live in Louisiana, we only have to have one. When I moved to TX after Katrina, I found it so strange that they had two plates.

YDI because you had two years to fix it, and didn't. Though it's understandable if you spent those two years in a state where two plates aren't required. And #57 - I could be wrong, but I believe the rationale for making cars have two plates is so that if you run a red light, or try to go through a tollbooth without paying, or something like that, then the cameras or people there have two chances to catch your plate number.

um 41? that might be true if he hadn't waited 2 YEARS to fix it i hardly think he deserves any slack for that i dont think the OP's a bad person but hey, you take a chance-just be ready for the consequence, simple as that
