Training and actually fighting are two completely different things. Try less tv and more sparring, but keep at it.
Done martial arts for 17 years, been instructor 9years, heres à tip; dont compare urself against stars and champs, focus on what you know and use that
And now you've gained valuable experience. Losing a fight will generally teach you more than winning one.

You need to do a training montage. Perhaps "Eye of the tiger" would be a good song choice to go with it.
Practice more instead of watching UFC, you'll get better. :)
