Today, I entered my first professional fight as a mixed martial artist. It's been my dream to become a UFC champion one day. All I do is train and watch UFC fights all day. I was out cold in a matter of seconds. FML

You need to do a training montage. Perhaps "Eye of the tiger" would be a good song choice to go with it.

Practice more instead of watching UFC, you'll get better. :)

30 Honestly I was thinking Eminem - Till I Collapse

In any sport, if you want to go From just a beginner to a pro You'll need a montage. (Montage) A simple little montage! (Montage)

Keep at it if it's really what you wanna do, and dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

Not everyone wins their first fight, hell hardly anyone does. keep training and you will make it some day.

Don't worry, OP! It was barely your first fight. I'm sure you'll gradually get better as you go along. :)

Or die a painful and gruesome brain damaged death. But he won't have to worry about that, carry on op.(:

^^ Is that how your juicebox died? IS OP GOING TO BE STABBED THROUGH THE BRAIN WITH A SIPPY STRAW??

38-What do you mean barely? Op said it was his first professional match. Doesn't really matter I agree with your message. I was just wondering. Good luck op! Keep your head up.

I agree. First professional versus first actual fight.

73 - yeah, I was talking about his first professional fight. Hopefully he didn't give up just because he lost. :D

Only shows you that it's not as easy as you possibly thought it was.

Key words: "Train every day." He knew what he was getting into. The opponent was probably fighting in the ring for years. First fight's always the toughest. You'd know that if you were big enough to talk like that legitimately.

Ok Quikraptor... I actually take Yoshukai karate so I know what I was talking about. I meant the "not as easy as he thought" part as starting in the professional position. Maybe if he lost that quickly, nerves got the best of him.

42 just like 41 said, OP probably knew what he was getting himself in to

Don't worry about it. You're gonna lose some fights, and might as well let it be as you're first starting. Actually fighting vs. training is a totally different world. You'll learn from these fights and then start kicking ass! :D

it could be worse ....you could be like kimbo slice and have no fighting talent whatsoever

44 that's where training comes in
