Today, I facebooked my friends about my upcoming birthday party, and told them to keep the date free. I got several responses telling me that's not possible, because that's the day the new Harry Potter movie comes out. FML

I would honestly have to agree. Opening night of Harry Potter matches no other.

pshh who wouldn't go watch Harry Potter instead *light bulb goes on in head* maybe you can have your birthday party at the movie theater!

Movies don't last all day...they obviously just needed an excuse not to come. Sucks for you.

YDI for not planning better.

The new Harry Potter is WAY more important then anybodys birthday! Since all of your friends are goig to see that why don't you have your party there! Then after you can go to a pizza place!

So, go to the movie with them, then go home for the party? Seems pretty obvious. D:

You should know better than to schedule your party on the opening night of Harry Potter. Nothing's more important

#13 i think #10 was being saracastic, because the OP was making it seem like her birthday was ruined, because her friends want to go see Harry Potter when it's her birthday when they could just go see Harry Potter as a birthday thing. Or actually it could still suck if the OP doesn't like Harry Potter and her friends still choose to go see it. =/

Have your party there! Or, with any luck, it'll be sold out and they can't go. XD

solution: have your party on a different day. there, happy?

Nothing beats a magical friend. Learn magic. Problem solved.
