Today, I figured I'd throw my ex-boyfriend a compliment and told him how "gifted" he was below the belt. He thinks he's paying me a compliment when he tells me how much he loves that little roll of skin that pops up over the top of my pants when I sit down. I'm trying to lose weight, asshole. FML

Today, I was at the gym, when a pretty overweight guy started staring and eventually taunting me. Let me tell you, lines such as "Lay off the cake, fatty!" and "I can see your gut hanging out your ass, for fuck's sake!" don't exactly boost one's self-confidence. FML

Today, I went to the gym and worked out with a trainer. While doing arm exercises he commented on how impressed he was with the size of my triceps. That really boosted my self-confidence, until he leaned in to feel them and said, "Oh, it's just fat." FML

#17 is soooo right!! I have been struggling with my weight forever. but I am too skinny. my bmi is in the 1 percentile. people always have to comment on how skinny I am and it makes me really self concious. now it is to the point where people call me anorexic. so don't feel bad you are perfect the way you are.

When I was in high school I lost a lot of weight and was super skinny but I worked my ass off and ate extremely healthy. To my guidence counselor an school nurse that was the equivalent of me having an eating disorder. My aunt died of an eating disorder and I flipped out on both of them for judging me just because I was no longer a fat ass like the rest of the population. People would point at me and whisper to each other about how skinny I was when I was going down the hall. My mom made me go to the doctors because she was convinced I was unhealthy and too skinny. The doctor said my weight was completely normal for my height. People hate on skinny people just as much as they do fat people. You can't win either way.
