Today, I finally had sex with a girl I've been dating for over a month. Before we got started she told me not to worry about the birth control because she could handle that. So after we finished I asked her what kind of birth control she used. She said she meditated. FML

Well, you learn something new every day! And the OP is a fool for not inquiring about her method of BC first. He's an even bigger idiot for leaving the decision about whether or not he'll father children in the hands of someone he's dated a month. CONDOMS! They're the only BC a sexually active man has at his disposal to do his part to ensure he does not procreate. If it's important to him to remain child-free, he needs to be responsible for his own sperm!

#33, Jody, and Pink: Wrong. A woman can get pregnant only 1 day of a given month, but this day can be at any point in the menstrual cycle (to varying degrees). There's an expanded window of hitting the fertile because sperm can survive 5-7 days in the female environment, so there's a week of each cycle where you cannot have unprotected sex if you're not trying to get pregnant. PS, While the above information is correct, the info is also approximate and should not be used for "rhythm" method which people shouldn't use as a primary form of bc anyway.

The information is applicable, to a couple TRYING to have a baby, but for the ignorant masses who don't have that kind of pinpointing mathematical skill, it's best to just assume that if BC or a condom isn't used (a condom should always be used) then a munchkin will be spawned. FYL & YDI.
