Today, I finally weighed myself after going on a strict diet of only fruits, vegetables, and coffee. I gained weight. FML

YDI for going on such an unhealthy diet. (Fad diets don't work! If you need to learn how to lose weight while staying healthy, ask your doctor for a referral to someone who can help.)

best diet ever: run every day. not like 2 blocks either. but i recommend 1.5-3 miles. and do that on an empty stomach so your body gets energy from the carbs and fat it has stored, instead of whats processing through your system. and the easiest way to do that on an empty stomach is by going in the morning. also, dont eat more than 1600 calories a day, until you reach your goal weight. by then you can take in a little more calories because you would have built slight muscle running and improved your metabolism, and therefore wont gain, unless you binge. anyhow. this works. trust me. =] as for your diet.. of course it doesnt freaking work. fruits are LOADED with sugar.. yes its natural but its still sugar, and sugar helps your body store fat. veggies are good though, low cal too, unless its corn, which is again high in sugar. and the coffee.. not as low cal as you think and the caffeine doesnt help.

yeah because you weren't eating any complex sugars and grains so your body stored the sugar from fruit/ veggies as carbs duuhh.

p90x son!!!! it's got a nutrition guide to it too. if u do a lil work out at leas 3 times a week and add in protein (legumes, whey or soy protein shakes- whey is better for you) and space out your meals every 2-3 hours so u have 5/6 meals a day. lower ur fruit intake except grapefruit. cut coffee add green tea 30min b4 u work out, take a kelp supplement and vitamins and most importantly don't eat 3 hours before sleep and get 8 hours of restful sleep!!!! if ur sleep cycle is messed up so Is ur metabolism. accupuncture works GREAT for losing weight too. helped me drop 40 pounds before, 2-3 pounds a week without changing A THING! annnnnnd don't forget u lose inches before u lose pounds so take ur measurements. if all that doesn't work FYL you're destined to be a Rollie Pollie.

41 is right. when you drastically cut your calories your body thinks it's being starved and then stores whatever is eaten as fat for future energy.
