One thing is for sure, Americans are very under educated when it comes to proper diet. You need muscle to burn fat. Muscle needs protien to burn the fat. I'm not talking shit about Americans I am one. Just saying there is a science to it and slim fast ain't it. Whole unprocessed foods is what are bodies need. Process foods are seen as toxins in the body and cause our liver to be over worked storing the rest of our food as fat because it does have enough energy to burn the rest. balanced diet of quality protein and low glycemic index carbs is what will do the trick. Just be healthy.

As they said on MadTV, "Eat less. Move more." Nothing about weight loss is rocket science. The 'move more" part is critical. It doesn't mean you have to spend thousands of dollars on gym memberships and the latest ab cruncher, just go for a god-damn walk. No latest Nikes, no treadmill, no new iPod, all you need are feet and the ground. If you walk anywhere, for any reason for an hour a day, you WILL lose weight. I'm not talking Power Walking, weight swinging, sweatband wearing here, just in normal street clothes, move from A to B.
