You need protien in your diet, proper serving sizes and excersise to lose weight. I hate it when people think they can lose weight without excersise!

okay first if you starve yourself then i DOUBT your gonna have energy to run, lift weights, etc. and to lose weight you need protein which also builds muscle which your not gonna get starving. second starving makes your stomoch start eating internal organs. and if starving really makes you skinnier then why are kids in Africa starving yet their stomachs are big?! do research before you talk like you know what your talking about bro.
Fruit = sugar. Sugar holds water. you are also taking in extra water with the coffee you drink. So an increase in sugar plus an increase in liquid intake = your body holding much more water = more water weight = higher scale number. and for the record, screw the scale. The number doesnt matter 1 bit. Measure your results based on appearance and fit of clothes. As long as you are losing inches, that is the important thing. and dont forget muscle weighs more than fat

ydi for starving yourself of essential nutrients. Diets are designed to not work so you buy more magazines, books, kits, plans, what have you. They are there to make money, not to actually help. It's BS that they work for some and not for others. If you do loose weight, you just gain it back since it's not sustainable. Re: all the "fruits have loads of sugar" comments. They also contain fiber which aids in breaking down of said sugars so they are still good for you. In moderation. A healthy balanced diet with protein be it meat or soy. Cut out processed foods. Drink loads of water. Switch out the coffee to green tea. Exercise. Eat whenever you are hungry, eat slowly and stop when you are no longer hungry. Our bodies are actually designed to know how much food we need. It's not bloody rocket science.
