I think she just meant that your not one of those twiggy anorexic 80lbs soaking wet ballerinas and she was complementing you on your "fullier" figure which just means your healthy looking
You could just be healthy looking and not look like you came out of a Nazi camp. Like a lot dancers look like.
God not another FML about being called fat... Anyway you shouldn't worry. People have different ideas about what fat is. The media's always flagging Beyonce as a "fuller figure", and yet she looks moderately thin to me.
You guys are wrong about ballet. Have you ever been in it or seen it? Everyone in my class is fuller than me and doesn't judge each other on our weight. Maybe that's your place that does that. I m sorry to hear that.
Hey, CL41RE, Remember the FML about the girl whose bf wrote her a love poem with the wrong name in it? I put in a dirty limerick and you asked me if I wrote it. I said that I didn't and you sounded disappointed. Well, just for you, I wrote an original dirty limerick around the OP's name. I hope you will go back and check it out, and I also hope you like that one, too.
don't worry about it, if you never thought of yourself as fat, you are not.
she might have just meant you have big **** lol, not really am FML unless your way too sensitive about that thing, considering i can't imagine a fat person being able to do ballet.....
nobody wants to watch zee doncing heepos, except in Fantasia!
A fuller figure doesn't necessarily mean that you're fat. She probably just means its good for her daughter to look up to someone with some curves rather than have her daughter try to live up to the ridiculous expectations that society puts on little girls. If you like your body, then don't worry about what she may or may not have meant by it.
This would be true if not for her adding the "don't worry about your weight!" at the end, which indicates the mother does indeed believes the teacher is fat, and is just saying the fuller figure thing because she thinks it's best for her daughter to not be stuck with society's views of thin or fat......even though she personally still admits that the teacher is fat. In other words, the mother's beliefs and application of it to parenting are dubious, which is worrisome for her kid, and... and she still does thinks the teacher is fat. It's pretty much an FTL for all involved.

You know, from a ballet standpoint, a lot of the woman are sticks. Maybe you just have a curvy figure, and she's happy her daughter can look up to someone with curvy hips instead of a coat hanger.
If you don't think you're fat then don't worry.
