I hope he didn't cut you loose haha
You just went there, didn't you...
Say no, that 'll teach him!
What kinda policy is that, store lost cards in accounting/lost and found.
Well, it is policy...
OP's boss may not usually go by his legal name, then OP would have no idea, even after looking at the name on the card...
I know my bosses name, and he doesn't go by it. It's not hard to find when legal documents have to be in their real name. Anything addressed to them would probably be by their real name. Plus the schedule, but I know not all places have a posted schedule for everyone.
I know what you mean. Rare, but can happen. I had a boss whose last name I never knew until years after I worked for him. Everyone simply went by our first names- both verbally and on the schedules. I was so low on the food chain I never had a need to know it until a random job application asked for the names of ALL former employers. Found the name out when I saw a post he made on a local news crew's facebook page. By then he was married, but since it's safe to assume he didn't change his last name upon marriage, I was in luck... or so I hope.
what does op mean

How much different is it gonna be?
You didn't read the name ? Oo
You didnt ask anyone if it was theirs?
Why wouldn't you read the name first? It could have been yours that fell out of your pocket for all you knew.
And before anyone points out that OP would be able to recognize his own card, many credit and debit cards look exactly alike or very similar (black, red, blue, green), and depending on the area, many people may use the same bank and have the same bank card design.
You better hide it. Dont tell anyone. Just leave it "lost" and he'll cancel it & get a new one. Bosses with a grudge against u suck

Didn't you recognize your bosses name on the card...?
The name on the card should have given it away that it was your bosses card. If the name was the same as an employee then you should ask if it's theirs or not before playing Edward Scissorhands.
