Let him call the cops. He has to provide proof that you took the money. Let him try to sue you also. Again, he has to prove you took it
Let him. He has no proof so his word is as good as yours is but yours is probubly better because you did return the wallet
Actually, I've heard of police doing things like that. Lie detector tests are inadmissible in court, but are sometimes used to help law enforcement determine whether or not to go ahead with criminal proceedings or whether to file charges at all.
The police won't b able to do anything bout it since he has no proof that 400dollars was in the wallet in the first place or that you took it
I hate people like that with a passion. You try and be nice and completely go out of your way to return this man's wallet and he tries to **** you over and get money out of you. I hope he burns in hell.
call the police first. let them know he's harassing you.
Very simple solution. Just drop the wallet off at a police station and say you found it. If you gave the guy your name or number, sorry but YDI, no reason at all to give him your information, regardless the police won't be able to do anything if he tries to make you pay back the money.
It's called a wedgie...
do u like to correct people
tell him to prove it
