Today, I found out I was pregnant. When I told my boyfriend that I couldn't believe this happened he said, "I'm not going to lie, I didn't always pull out fast." FML

pulling out doesn't work. I guess sex-ed in Utah still doesn't work either.

I think this is fake and was put here just to get people all pissed about the pull out method.

That's what you get for not using a protection! Next time, make him use a condom. He better be marrying your ass now.

"Abstinence makes you unable to become pregnant". So how did the Virgin Mary get pregnant?

1) you're quoting the wrong person, or at least the wrong comment. 2) not everyone has the same religious beliefs therefore Mary may be irrelevant to some 3) acts of god do not count because having God's baby is a hell of a lot different than having a baby of absolutly no parentage (paternally). 4) Abstience has been proven entirly effective in any other situation besides that one in teh bible. If it were not so we would have a whole lot more unwanted prgnancies because you could just be walking down the street and then the next thing you know somethings growing in your womb and you had no idea until too late.

Divine intervention. Don't bring religious aspects into this discussion. They're irrelevant.

I hate it when the girl is pregnant and the couple get married because of the baby, and others think of them as being responsible. They are NOT responsible, that's how they got into the pregnancy situation. The two of them should together figure out a decision, be it raising it themselves, adoption, or abortion, and not get married. How can they take on the responsibilities or marriage when they cannot even be intelligent enough to use proper contraceptives?

"When I told my boyfriend that I couldn't believe this happened..." Were you conscious when you were having sex?

Sex = babies. Didnt they teach you yet, or are you still in 5th grade like all the other pre teen mothers. No sex until marriage

I clicked both, because YLIF, but you should have used more reliable contraception if you didn't want to get pregnant!

I agree, whether or not pulling out is effective is irrelevent, you should have used more proper protection EVERY time, OP. I'm not saying your boyfriend would cheat on you, but just in case you should be at least somewhat protected against STDs too. Use a condom.

I'm certainly not going to call you an idiot, because most people are just misinformed - or not informed at all - so it's not necessarily your fault for not knowing that the withdrawal method DOES NOT WORK. It might reduce your chances marginally, but that's all. If you're going to have sex, you should use real contraception, like a condom or a pill or something. I hope your child gets better sex ed than you did. And ignore the "no sex until marriage" preachers, they know nothing about the real world. Marriage doesn't help you control your own reproductive function ONE BIT. It's not like you get married and suddenly you don't need contraception anymore, that marriage license will protect you from getting pregnant. Uhhh no? You need to get real contraception, and get educated. When you go to your doctor for the pregnancy, ask them for information so you know the facts. Please.

Uhhh I think the general idea is that when you're married, having kids is something you would want to do...

Okay, A) Pre-cum. It exists. B) You trusted a guy to pull out. My sympathy is necessarily limited.

I think there's a reason many call it the "pull and pray" method. Do not do it. It's not reliable.

I'm not going to say it but it rhymes with shmitshmortson! Check into it. For the guy way to go idiot! Now instead of buying a pack of condoms for cheap you get to pay for a "shmitshmortson" or pay for the next 18 years!
