As someone who's most likely asexual and has no real interest in having sex, I feel like sex is overrated but I know sex is important to most people. I feel like society is too obsessed with sex though and people like to talk about it so much.

It's fine - walls at uni are always paper thin and everyone hears. As long as it isn't inconsiderate (like loud and late at night or during exams) most people are fine with it. I had never heard sex before uni and the girl next to my room had it a lot - seriously don't worry about it.
