Today, I found out that instead of having four wisdom teeth, I have eight. They all have to be removed as soon as possible, which happens to be over the Christmas break. I get to spend my whole vacation in excruciating pain and a swollen face to boot. FML

Well, at least you'll have many Christmases in the later years that you wont need to worry about your wisdom teeth. We tigers don't have to worry about such a trivial thing. In fact, if I had the problem you had. You might find me snacking on some of your young cause my mouth hurt. -Fluffy McTiger

Getting your wisdom teeth taken out is not that bad. I had all four of mine out at once, with very little pain. Even if you end up looking like a chipmunk, it will only be for a couple days, then you will be fine for that Christmas turkey.

yup very possible. the number varies between people. I personally had 5 and they said it's not uncommon to have more or less than 4

stalk up on the advil. You'll be ok. The swelling goes down in a few days. Sucks that you got four. Sorry

Eh, I had all four of mine pulled at once, it really isnt that bad. It really only hurt for 2 days and the swelling was mostly gone by the third. Don't take oxy, that stuff is terrible. It does kill the pain but makes you feel like crap and have crazy wierd dreams. Percoset or vicoden for pain for the first couple days and ibueprofin after that. Mouth will be pretty tender for another week, but I was back to work on the 3rd day.
