ok english is my second laguage and i can tell you i know more english than most people i know....im not calling native speakers stupid but c'mon...a great deal of americans do great things in highschool but never survive college...hell the OP might have dropped out of college for all we know. so she deserved it for being a mediocre bitch who thinks a person who is smart enough to learn a WHOLE DIFFERENT LANGUAGE(hell im 16 and i dominate both spanish and english perfectly!) cant get a PhD. and to all the idiots who get into stupid arguments about some comment another idiot posted...get a life.

I'm gonna say YDI, purely because you called English "basic." It's as difficult a subject as any other. I did specialist maths and chemistry, and yet I got my lowest scores in English.

Okay so she worked hard to get what she wanted. If you graduated first in class, then why are you still working at Mcdonalds ? Honestly your lack of ambition or drive after high school and your current job is your fault, not others. not because you taught her english, meant that u were smarter than her. Some people LIKE YOU really got no common sense, i cane to this country 2 YEARS AGO, ONLY 2 YEARS, not knowing any english, i went thru shit when people made fun of me, because of my accent, and THEY THOUGHT they were smarter than me in school. I learned english in less thab year, i got a 94 average in school, and i got my first job over a year ago. WOW FYL. you deff ddnt work hard enough to get where that girl is, im actually very happy for her.
