My first year of college I ended up with an eighteen year old, first time away from home princess who didn't do her dishes, clean, or keep the bathroom tidy, and who cried ALL THE ******* TIME for like the first month straight. If she's making serious, non-joking threats, report her to your RA and ask for a transfer, or if you're seriously worried, go straight to the police. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

If you talk to your residence director or even your RA, they'll let you change roommates. Otherwise just someone else in the hall to switch with you
