Investing in penny stocks with your money made no cents in my opinion.

Show it anywayYes, #12, the parents ought to spend some time locked up in the "penny"-tentiary.

I'm sorry but am I the only one wondering why OP's parents were able to withdraw money from his bank? I mean why did they even have his password?
OP's probably a teenager if he has a summer job. They may have had to know it/make the account for him.
My mother is a cosigner on all of my bank accounts, so she has access to them in case an emergency pops up and she needs money immediately. There's a lot of trust involved, but she's never abused the privilege. Not all parents are thieves to their children's accounts.
The only account my mum has access to is the savings account she made when I was born. My current account was set up when I was 11 and my mum isn't allowed access to it. If she did I would never see my wages.
ur parents r really losers but u on the other hand, a hardworking good person. keep it up, life doesn't forget ur good deeds.. it will reward u some day
it's sounds like your parents were the ones being selfish who steals from their kid they should definitely pay you back and apparently also learn how to manage money better since apparently they sick at it. sorry OP I hope they decide to do the right thing pay you back.
that is ****** up
Report it to your bank as stolen. Your account should be insured through the bank. If not close it down and open one by yourself or with a responsible family member. I'm sorry they did that to you.
I wish that was possible but in most US states the parent is considered the owner of the account so the OP wouldn't be able to report it as stolen since the laws themselves say the OP never owned it in the first place.
The amount of FMLs on this site about parents stealing from their kids continues to blow my mind. I agree with a lot of the others here, OP. I'd report the money as stolen and if you can open a new account they don't have access to. If you're underage maybe a more responsible family member like an aunt or something can go on the account with you.

How did they get access to your account? And doesn't the bank notify you when you take out a large amount of money? Your parents are ****** up and should be paying you back for their stupidity.
That sucks, OP. Maybe you can get them to pay you back eventually ):
