playing wow is only as big a deal as you make it. my bf plays and now i play. i wasn't exactly thrilled by it either but i decided to become apart of it then let it eat at me. join in his interests.

World of Warcraft is a ridiculously addicting game and you get out of it what you put in. That is precisely why I stopped playing. If you're not willing to play all-night marathon raid sessions or spend hours crafting or fighting other players you won't get very far. I could never raid on Friday nights because I see my girlfriend every friday night. That being said, hardcore WoW players are too dedicated to the game to responsibly handle a relationship unless it's with someone else who plays just as much as they do or someone who can handle coming in second to the game. Truth be told, if you're not willing to invest 24+ hours per week into the game, WoW is pretty boring. The guy was wrong to neglect the girl for a game and yes, she was wrong to give him an ultimatum. If you're tired of playing second banana to the Conqueror's Deathbringer Garb communication may have been a better idea, telling him how you feel and breaking up if your feelings don't matter enough for him to at least cut back to a reasonable amount of play time (after which he would get bored and quit any way, lol)
