Well... Problems related to alcoholism can also come from genetics. So if either one of your parents or a cousin, uncle, any relative is an alcoholic, then you might've inherited that gene. As a result, your cells are reacting to the lack of alcohol in your body. This can all be going on even if YOU, personally, have never had a drink. The people above me commenting on how stupid you are obviously do not know what it feels like to be in your situation. Hope you get better.
well i would say that there is something definitly wrong with that but i cant tell if ur telling the truth or not cause this is the internet...
some of these comments...... wow. just wow. OP, best of luck on the condition. my warm wishes go out to you.
This happened to my dad too. Apparently hydroxi cut destroys your liver
If it's cirrhosis, it can happen from a lot of stuff, drinking is just the most common cause of it. It can be caused by all kinds of stuff though, from a food allergy to abnormal kidney function. Sucks that you have it, though, sorry about that. Good thing the liver heals quickly.
"Generally" End of discussion. Sorry to hear about your condition, but that's why they say "generally" and not "always".
Lay off the Tylenol would be my guess. Then again, I only know that because I almost lost my uncle to it so I'm not really one to talk. Seriously though lots of things screw up your liver. Seriously though, I submitted basically the same thing about epididymitis except Chlamydia causes 90 odd percent of cases. The alternate diagnosis is that I'm 12.
I dont care what anyone says. If you've had a drink in your life, you ARE an alcoholic and you need help. If you're not an alcoholic, then you dont need to drink, not even once. You have a disease. The sooner you admit it, the better. Personally I think all alcoholics should be in prison

You can get liver problems if you mess around with pills. Same thing happened to my grandpa. Only one in my family who didn't drink a day in his life, but his doctors over-medicated him for a heart condition and he died from liver failure. I'd check any drugs you've been taking.
well now is the time to start!!!
