Today, I got sick in the airsick bag as my flight landed. The woman next to me, trying to make me feel better, says "Don't handle landings too well?" I responded "No, I actually fly fine, I'm just 8 weeks pregnant." She looked at my left hand, noticed no ring, rolled her eyes and looked away. FML

Today, I went on a long flight. I was fortunate enough to sit next to a great girl. However, she must have thought I was not so great, because she moved to the empty seat across the aisle. Next to my dad. Who then told stories about how I always get motion sickness on airplanes. I then threw up. FML

Today, on my airplane ride home, the woman next to me wasn't feeling too well. She pulled out the air sickness bag to throw up into and missed. Her vomit splattered all over the seat in front of her and all over me. We were both covered in puke. And that was only my first of two flights. FML

Today, I was on an early flight home after a night of drinking. I was sat in my seat when I started feeling sweaty and nauseous. I grabbed the puke bag and started gagging, then puking, and a really loud fart came out. Everyone heard it. The attendant switched me seat to sit alone. FML

Today, I was sick on an airplane. As we were taking off, I felt like I was ready to hurl. I was sitting in the window seat and was unable to get up in time to go to the bathroom so I was forced to grab the nearest container to puke in. It was a glass of juice belonging to the woman next to me. FML

Today, I saw a woman who I thought was pregnant on the bus. Trying to be nice, I offered her my seat and congratulated her. She wasn't pregnant, just holding a large bag of groceries. The entire bus heard me and the death glare she gave could’ve turned me to stone. FML

Today, I was at the airport to pick up my mother since my baby is due soon. As she arrived, I smiled wide and opened my arms for a hug, but she walked right by me. Apparently, being pregnant makes me unrecognizable. My husband and I had to tell it her was me, her own daughter. FML

You people do realize that not all people exchange rings when they are getting married. My cousins are SDA and they don't believe in wedding rings. They have three kids and I would hate for people to look down on her just b/c she isn't wearing a ring when she has been married for many years now.

Some people don't believe in a god, so the choose to not be married under a god. Marriage is a religious concept; if you don't have a religion, why bother getting married? Just because someone isn't married doesn't mean they can't have kids. That lady was quite rude :(

I agree, the woman was very rude. But i can tell you know, that when the baby is born your going to get even more people giving you a similar reaction. Which is very unfair. I don't see anything wrong with sex before marriage, but i have nothing against people who do believe in waiting. That's just my opinion though. The way i see it, why judge someone if they aren't hurting anyone? Your not hurting this woman personally by getting pregant. So she had no right to pass judgement. People like this woman, who are very close minded, probably know that by doing what she did, she is putting herself above you. Whenever someone does this to you, don't let them see that their reaction affects you.

249 and 258, you both said it goes on the right hand and that is incorrect. Wedding rings go on the left hand. 258, yours may have been a mistake because it seems like you were trying to tell 249 they were wrong, but you should check for typos. :)

In some countries they wear their wedding rings on the right hand. So in actual fact. Neither of you guys are wrong! One of my friends growing up, his parents were Greek (I believe, by their accent, I can't remember 100% this was over 10 years ago), and they wore their wedding rings on their right hand. I remember asking them about it when I was a child. But in North America, we wear them on out left hands.

To all the people saying YDI for being pregnant outside marriage or not having safe sex, you are idiots. It's the 21st century, and it's not exactly uncommon to be having sex outside marriage. And as for the safe sex thing, accidents happen. Even if she wasn't practicing safe sex, then at least she's taking responsibility for her actions and having the baby.
