YDI for being an uppity "health" nut. It still stands medically that an omnivorous diet is more healthy than a vegitarian or vegan diet.
Wow..seriously..everyone who put down vegheads are really Niave...Firstly, You haven't the slightest clue what your putting in your body..unless you've done research..then disregard.. And really..your that much a loser to spend your time your time on here putting people down..it's sad... And why would you bash on veggies..just cos you don't like the lifestyle doesn't mean you have the right..no one told you to and no one told you to comment.... and just b.c Omnivore is more healthy doesn't mean people wanna go by it.. For the person that posted this...If you have to go back to eating meat go Kosher cos they don't tourtue animals the way non-kosher bastards do...
You can be a vegetarian without eating soy. btw #259 is false, vegan is healthier than omni. Not that the OP said "vegan" or indicated he was a health nut, way to assume, amiright?
I'm amazed at how horribly people spell on here.
i love #1
HA! HA HA! ******* vegitarians
haleyjames112: You're exactly right about the kosher bit (and halaal, too). Those two standards call for much better treatment of the animals before slaughter and the meat afterward. Companies who make the effort to meet these standards (pardon the pun) often care enough to use fewer (if any) growth hormones and bizarre feed as well. Personally, I can taste the difference and prefer their meat to the stuff in the big bin at the grocery. Then again, I know a few farmers and tend to get lamb, beef, and chicken pretty much straight out of the field, but the halaal meat market is a great backup source when the cattle farmer doesn't have an animal ready before I run out of the last batch.
Vegetarian without soy is entirely doable; I am vegetarian and almost never eat soy products. I know someone who is vegan with a soy allergy and that seems terrible.

HA! soy sorry
People, seriously, shut the hell up on hating vegetarians. It's a personal choice, and if they're not pushing it on you, then you have no right to be pushing them to eat meat. There are entire countries with the majority of it's people being vegetarian. Do you hate on them? And I really doubt some of you are !00% carnivores. You can't survive on just meat, just so you know. There are other things you can eat besides soy products, and there are other alternatives. Also, you guys aren't being witty or funny with your comments saying, "Oh too bad, just go eat a steak and get over it." You're just sounding like an idiot.
