Yah i think you need to rethink your parenting style!
It's not the way how children should be treated. I think it's selfish and hasty step from you.
You're a horrible parent for doing that to your kid.
This is the kind of thing that results in years of therapy. Shall I polish your Parent of the Year award now?
#50 this is hardly the kind of thing that would result in therapy for probably 99.9% of children. Kids are usually not as easy to scare as adults seem to think. A lot of even very young kids these days have no problem watching horror movies or playing violent video games. I'm NOT saying this is good, but this generation of kids seems to be much more jaded than past generations, they have a pretty easy time understanding that the movies are not real. Therefore even if OP's son was momentarily frightened, there is probably almost 0 chance of this translating into long term trauma.
Aww that's cute yet really sad
This is what happens when attention ****** become parents.
What is wrong with you?
I have a three year old son too. I would NEVER tell him there are monsters in the house just so he would cuddle with me. It's one thing to hide around a corner and say boo, it's something completely different when you tell your child that there are monsters so he'll cuddle with your selfish ass.
