You two need to talk. Discuss each others insecurities and what it is you both need to fulfill a more active and healthy intimate life. Check and see how each other are truly doing, ensure neither of you are ill or dwelling on something that is snuffing out the eagerness and motivation by weighing on the mind. Ask and see if there are preferences you both would like to experiment with or avoid/lessen if needed. Perhaps try Food play. Alternate taking initiative in arousing each other and instigating, and vary your approach. Good luck!
