24 isn't that bad. what about the days when a person wouldn't move out until they got married? in their late 20's? this whole "moving out at 18" thing is almost unrealistic unless you're rich and parents pay for rent. this is coming from an 18 year old by the way. and i can definitely understand if the OP is still in school, because school/work/bills/rent are a horrible combination
Hahahahaha!!! SUCKER!!! And she got here own place, right?? Grow up, be a man and move out.
That's not that big of a deal these days. If you're still in college, or just out, I can understand it. School is expensive and it's WAY too hard to buy a house when you're paying for school. And don't be a bum in a tiny apartment. People think that's impressive, but it's not really that cool to throw your money away every month. :)
yea.. its not a bad thing to still be living at home at that age. i may be when im 24 as well.. but thats in 3 years so we'll see. the economy is so crap right now that its actually good to stay home as long as you can and work your ass off and save money so that when you DO leave, youre not ******. so many adults who left home early tell me not to because they ****** their lives. my little brother left at 16 and thought he knew everything... guess where he is now? back. i still live at home, im 21... although... my parents "let" me have boys sleep over, and say sorry if they have to get up during the night when im having sex.. "sorry for disturbing you".. and they mean it.
I dont get why this was getting downvoted? Idiots need to stop with the whole "if u havent moved out by 18 u suck" mentality. Its ******* retarded. Not a lot of people can just do that and not have to struggle day by day with bills and food and shit. It was possible decades ago, now its only a good idea if your parents are rich and can still support you with rent and shit.
Don't feel bad; lots of people have to move home nowadays, OR are still at uni so it's more convenient for them to live at home, etc. I don't think it's something you should be embarassed about. Also, well done for respecting your parents so much that you don't just randomly take girls home with you. :)
people relax, he could be in uni, or still lots of debt.....
dont worry about it, in these times thats gonna be a ..... trend, my mom would high five me if i brought a girl home.

Right now, lots of 24 year-olds live with their parents. Normally I'd be with #2 and say get a job, but obviously the job market is pretty poor at the moment.
I don't really think that would be considered a sleep over when you're that old :P
