Today, I learned that chivalry truly is dead when a seemingly fit man pushed me into a door to get a seat on the train before me. My leg is in a cast. FML

Unfortunately, there are alot of people like that in the population. Hopefully his rude ass ends up in a cast later so he can see how it feels, don't let this prick ruin your day!

it's not dead all around. it's dead in him.... as is his soul. 8|

chivalry isn't dead for me. guess I'm just nice that way. but yeah what a asshole. he has no respect. should've said something. although I would've punched him

Forget chivalry how about being nice to everyone. Common courtesy is dead not chivalry. Op don't take it to heart, some people need to be first for everything and will step over anyone to shave a few seconds off of their commute.

Chivalry IS dead......and Women killed it. What happened to you had nothing to do with chivalry. If I see someone with a leg cast in front of me on a bus I'd get up to help him/her as a common courtesy to humans in general. The person who pushed you was a dumbass asshole in general who would have done the same thing if you were male. So yeah. **** that asshole. But why chivalry is dead is an ENTIRELY different topic.

I would've came up and sat on his lap, and ripped ass ;D

I agree with pretty much everybody! chivalry is not dead but the feminism did it's toll! that guy was just a jerk!

Should have made a scene and embarassed him. "Thanks man, that made my injuries feel so much better! Don't worry though, I didn't need that seat anyway, you look way more deserving of it than me. Have a great day."
