Ooh, burn!
I seriously doubt you can get third degree burns from a hot handle. First, yes, Second..maybe, but third? doubtful. Unless you purposefully tried to hold on as long as you can. I spilled a pot of boiling water on myself and received only second degree burns. Anyway hope you feel better.

I'm still trying to figure out how that happen
I think the story is fishy; the handle should have heat insulating material that could get hot but I can't see how ut would get hotter than the pan itself. Either handle isn't insulated, or you are lying.
